I would like to hear your definition of overrated. You seem to just be listing music you don't like. This is obvious as you are now listing whole genres of music as overrated. Although I personally am not a huge fan of Country music they are some of the most talented musicians out there.

You avoided my question and threw it back on me. Cool. A great example of a talented country musician would be Brad Paisley. Check out a song of his called time warp. It's a great example.
Musical talent, mind you, is based on the ability an instrument or sing. Not whether or not the music is appealing to you. Cheers!!

ya he can sing (some would disagree) he can play guitar. but for someone who claims to be and everyone says a "great songwriter" why does he have so many songwriters on staff? BOX!!!

thats just about the dumbest thing i have ever heard/read... you "debunked" by saying "BOX" and not backing anything you've said up with fact based arguements... everyone is entitled opinions, but not enlist them as fact...
that whole "BOX" thing reminds me of what my 13 year old niece says when she has absolutely nothing at to say in rebuttal... she simply says "and your done" makes this little hand motion and repeats this if anything more is said...

im listening to my favorite sports radio show over the internet cuz im not in minn now and they just used it and it was funny so i put it in there.
no matter what it looks like im not sitting here trying to argue with people.
its kind of funny that everyone else can post there opinions on different bands and i throw country in as a whole cuz i dont like it and do not believe they are as talanted as most other musicians and i get ripped for it.
also dont compare me to a 13 year old as i did not insult anybodys personality. Thank you have a wonderful day.

Thank you for taking my words out of context. The words at the beginning and end of my sentence carry a good deal of importance in the overall statement as they usually do in grammar. I'm done as far as going back and forth on the issue with the kid. It's pointless and only comparible to reasoning with a tree. The only thing that would result is having a great thread locked.

I have to agree with you. I love his music. But now liking Johnny Cash has become the cool thing to do since the movie came out.
