Most Overrated Band/s of all time?

well im only 21 at the moment so no wife but i have a gf we are at my parents beach house in carmel right now but she is yet to get up for the mourning so i have been looking online for more stuff for my fish tanks for about 4 hours waiting for her, hahaha. but i dont really need to work its a family owned company and i mostly do it for something to do but i enjoy it too so it all works out.

I am suprsed i havent seen Bob Dylans name mentioned here. I am a huge dylan fan, but never give anyone a hard time for not liking him. I realize his voice takes some getting used to. but you cant deny his song writing ability, and his abilty to still be touring as much as he does as old as he is.

Good point...I cant stand Bob Dylan..Great song writer though....
Cash is awsome..always has been...Long before the movie..
The white stripes need to be wiped off the earth...

shotgun, i see what you're sayin about declining genres... but all rap sucks. ask sombody why they like rap... they say " i like the beat", i just crack up, the "beat" is called a drum machine. rap has a silent c in it. and i gotta say, country is a lil bit overrated, because their lyrics are them talking in a raspy voice about whats happening to them as they're drunk. their guitar playing isn't anything to rave about.
and i don't see how dave mathews is overrated because their fans are annoying?
and i think the beatles are overrated. yea we can't compare them to the best of music. but we can't say they were good, just because they were in the right time., talent can happen at any time. it's not like we unlocked it after the beatles, so they were good compared to whats out there.

My son likes Kiss. They were the one band my parents wouldn't let me listen to when I was younger. I agree with over rated 'cuz some of thier recordings only have 1 or 2 good songs on them.
I also agree with the Beatles being over rated.
