Most peaceful tang?

So many people say kole but I have seen so many aggressive kole tangs.
I will cast my vote for either an achilles or vlamingi.

The achilles tang is my favorite fish! However, I don't think I have the skill to keep one alive and happy. Where does the powder brown rank? I think the scopus and vlamingi are probably the two ugliest tangs. LOL!

You have never seen well-kept vlamingi then. Vlamingi's can be down right gorgeous with their blue spots and blue lips.
Powder brown is decent. Can get very nasty as it matures, just like the powder blue.

Since you said that, I googled them up. All I can say is WOW! You're right! I might just get one of these! SWF.com even has them on sale. Anyone have experience purchasing tangs from this site?

This site ships their fish excellently.
Vlamingi's are good shippers, anyway. Once they get to know you, they are like a little puppy dog. I had mine for three years until I broke down my 210 and he was by far one of the best fish in the tank.

One Tang that has been on my list... almost forgot about it is Desjardini Tang. They are suppose to be less aggressive.

How difficult are they to care for? This site lists them as easy. Shyeah... as if! I kept a purple tang that I recently traded because it was too aggressive. So I'm not a tang noob I don't guess. But I think the purple is the easiest to care for, right? So how does the vlamingi stack up? My most shy fish is a threadfin blue gudgeon dartfish. How do you think the Vlamingi will fare with this fish?

I like this one too, but I think I'm in love with the vlamingi now. Weird! I hated it ten minutes ago! LOL! How does it compare in aggression, lion_crazz?

Zebrasomas are always going to be more aggressive than naso's. The vlamingi is much more docile and friendly.
