A few ideas...
Besides a nice card...Don't they like flower arrangements? Maybe some bath stuff or a nice knick-knack. A nice restaurant is always welcome.

Ren, I believe you have a toddler, right? My son will be 2 this month and I can tell you what I would like for Mother's day. Maybe it will help.
I've been asking my husband for a year to buy one of those pottery barn frames that shows a baby's first year. It has a window for every month and then a big window for the 1 year picture. My husband finally got it for my birthday, but he didn't put it together, which is kind of the whole point!
For Father's Day, I went to My Publisher and made him a photo book. I titled it "My First Year With Daddy." I would LOVE to get something like this.
What I don't want is a thoughtless gift that takes 5 minutes to buy at the mall. Mother's Day is supposed to be a sentimental holiday.

that's an idea problem is i don't know if she has a picture from each month. but, i got a hint over the weekend, so i'm not sure how good of an idea this is.
she said that she likes tulips better than the dafodils that we have. so i was going to get her some chocolates, a bunch of tulip bulbs, and marley and me (she wanted to see that, but i'm sure she's going to hate it due to the ending)
