No country for old men is the freshest one in my mind . We got a movie on saturday ... Can't really remember it so it couldn't have been too bad , But then not so good as to remember what it was . We did watch lions for lambs last night and it was good .

I'm a little surprised someone that actually would watch a subtitled movie disliked Pans Labyrinth cause if you're watching a subtitled film in the first place then you probably like more indie films. Personally I thought that movie was awesome. I'd have to say Borat, I even like stupid funny movies, but Borat just seemed dumb and uncomfortable to watch.

I loved Pans Labyrinth and I'm not one for indie films . But then again I undestood enough of the spanish to be able to concentrate on the movie and not the words on the bottom the whole time .

I wouldn't say I'm into Indie films. I would rather have the subtitles then have non-native languages though. Perhaps in Pan Labyrinth's case, in particular, I watched after it had be hyped up so much, almost anything would be a let down. The only movie I've watched after hearing all the hype, and genuninely felt it was that good or better, was Scarface. Also, I felt mislead, I was waiting the entire movie for this spectular far out there fairy-tale land, but all we got was that stupid scene down in the tube.

Ya it can be rough, if its been all hyped up. I watched it based on its high rating on Rotten Tomatoes and so didn't really have any idea what to expect or what it was going to be like. I thought it had a lot more heart then the vast majority of fantasy films do and found it very moving.

I didnt like 300 very much....way overrated imo, and I think meet the spartans really sucked...but then again I only know 1 or 2 people that did like it.
At first I didnt like napolean dynamite. I really regretted watching it, but I saw it again on comedy central, and I really appreciate that movie, theres just something about the end that touches me when it just kindof loses some of its stupidity, and things start working out for everyone.
And I juts dont think its fair for someone to say a movie is overated after seeing only 5 minutes of it, so I hope thats just exageration from you guys.

I was so annoyed with that movie, I thought it was going to be a Tarentino-esk shoot em up. Kind of westerny. About drug wars and guns and wierd killers. Boondock saints ish. Which would have been awesome. Dark, then the guys you liked started dying. And this random character who played a smaller part in the movie end up who the movie was entirely about. And when he was telling his dream, I was like oh no not that yeah, oh, crap well hell, well that sucks, I don't want to be old.

Are you talking about lions for lambs ? Or are you reffering to no country for old men ?

Everyone says "Pulp Fiction" was a great movie, but I think it's the most overrated and overhyped movie of all time!!!
For those who thought 300 sucked, has to watch it on a large widescreen TV with great surround sound speakers!!! Excellent movie!!!

Transformers. Terrific robots, terrific CG, terrific acting, terrific score, terrific climax, terrific storyline, terrific idea, terrible moral aesthetics...
The ruined a movie that would have otherwise been my favorite secular Hollywood film.
Why??
