moving rock???

I am getting rid of one of my 75 gal. tanks(for now) and want to move the live rock from it,to my other 75 reef.
All the fish in the tank that I am getting rid of seemed very healthy, except for tiny,tiny black dots on a powder brown that never spread to other fish in the tank, or bothered him.
The tank I am getting rid of did have some gross green algae in it that looked a little different than the green hair algae in my reef(that I want to move the rock to).
Can I move the rock over to my reef ?

I don't see why not, but I'd leave the algae behind....

im moving my rock to another tank to. just make sure you scrub it off really good for a fresh start
