My 10g

Well i have been saying i would set my tank up for a while and post some pics but i finally got around to it lol

. So far just been letting it run started the cycle and am gonna add some fish in about a week

Well if you just started the "cycle" why would you think you could add any fish next week? You need a good 4 weeks or so to go thru the initial cycle.....then add a small cuc.....test test test...then MAYBE think of a fish
a 10G will not hold very many fish, DO you have a clue what you are gonna put in there?

I guess i really need to be more specific lol its been running for about 12 days now started cycling 10 days ago.....as for what i am putting in there i would say a small clown or a firefish....and yeah i am waiting another week even though my levels are really close to zero.

i would wait a week AFTER all levels stay at ZERO.....then I would add a small cuc....test....then add maybe ONE fish
you do realize that with a 10G all you will be able to add is maybe 1 clown and the one firefish.....nothing else

Yeah the number of fish doesn't bother me much.....happy and healthy is better than overcrowded and dead lol. That and i have a 40g in my garage that i am getting ready to set up as well so if i really need more fish i will set that up. I do appriciate the advice though =) Only thing is i have never had a cuc before are they difficult or really easy?

LOL....In my opinion CUC are a necessity.....snails...the various types are really important in cleaning your tank

CUC clean up crew....snails and crabs ...easy as pie
