You were able to do all that word work and need it "professionally" stained and finished? You seem professional enough to me!

If you have this much woodworking experience, and have come this far with the project....I vote that you do the finish on it. That's the easiest part man. Trial & error on some scrap. 2-3 coats of stain, sand n' sealer, varnish. You can do it.

No way! I wish we had something like that here in Morgantown! At least there are none that I know of... how do you find out about something like that?

Great tank, I have can't wait to see it set up.
Can you pm me with what the good LFS names in your area? I'm from Hurricane and down that way often and would like to stop at a couple on my way home. Thanks!

I believe he is talking about the same one I go to when I'm in the area jo-mar's? They sent me to the CVRC, If not you should try it as well A_Thrice. They have taught me everything I know about SW. The owner and that other guy there really seem to know there stuff. They don't have alot of fish in there compared to big stores. First time I went in the tanks had tons of HOLD signs on them. Then I was there one day when shipment came in and almost got trampled, they put hold tags on nearly ever tank it was something I never saw before. The amount of coral in there was amazing though, more than I had seen anywhere and one of the guys told me that some of it was local grown and the rest was aquacultured so naturally I found my favorite LFS which is one of the most important things you can do in this hobby IMO.

Very, very nice. Can't wait to see the rest of your build. I'm sure it will be an awesome tank when finished.

haha, I just noted in that last pic, it looks like the blue tang is looking over at the new tank - quite interested in it's new home.
