My only suggestion here would be that it is close enough to the side glass that as it grows it will be too close and hard to get to clean the glass. I would move it here..........

With the stalk in the hole and the head facing out towards the front. That will hide the stalk and give you a good view of the tentacles.
Just my opinion though.

I have one more quick question. This is a branching frogspawn, if I put it in that position (I just went a looked and it would fit right in there nicely and look good too) will it affect it's branching abilities?

The tank looks great - if you can put your frogspan loose in a crevice it will make it easier to take out if you ever want to break a piece off to frag. My hammer just sits in a crevice and I have taken it out to frag.

Thanks again for the advice. I'm going to take both your advice and put it in the hole you suggested spanko. The more I look at it, the more I like that idea and it will put something more onto the rock and I don't think the flow will be as heavy either. Ya'll are great.

This is a PS - I just finished testing the parameters on my tank too which is one of the reasons I kept looking at the hole for the frogspawn. Here are my parameters:
Salinity - 1.025
PH - 8.0-8.1
CA - 420
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - Between 0 & 5.0
Phosphates - .25
Alk - 10.25
I'm using API test kits, I realize those aren't the best - but I haven't been able to get my PH or CA any higher than these for awhile. The tank is due for a water change and I'm mixing up my saltwater batch, but it hasn't been mixing long enough yet. I don't have my own RO/DI system so had to get water from my LFS yesterday.
What are the opinions out there on these numbers??

Yes, I just placed it in the hole. Got all the white epoxy off too. It went right in there and seems to be holding good. So in a few months or so I may be asking how to frag it. I'm really enjoying it. My cleaner shrimp keeps going to it and checking it out. The clowns haven't gone near it, but that's okay too. I read the parameters spanko posted - I've never tested for magnesium since I started the tank the end of April. I'm going to order a test kit for that too. The rest of my parameters seem to be good according to that. Thanks for your help. This forum has been the best!!!

or sting and kill other things in the system. Been thinking after my renovation, getting an anemone for the little rasta mon. Lol..... we shall see. My clown was wild caught and I had to "teach him/her to eat frozen, that was not fun. hopefully the op's clown was tank raised.

I'm hoping my clowns will go to it eventually. I'm very happy with the way things are going in my tank.
Maybe in a couple of more weeks I'll add either a Leather Toadstool or a Candy Cane - I need to research corals that can sit high up on the rock where it gets a lot of light and in that middle swim through - the middle swim through doesn't get much light at all. Any suggestions for those types of corals?

Thought I'd put an updated photo of my tank. Being on a budget sure makes it slow going in adding corals, but plan on going to my LFS on Tuesday and either get a Candy Cane of a small Chalice. I had to kill of a couple of aptsasia yesterday, only 2 that I could see. I understand peppermint shrimp work for that. If I got a couple of them would they get along with my Cleaner shrimp or would there be a problem??

I'm wanting to get a coral that can sit up higher on the rock - any suggestions?

I like the rock work. You can have peps and cleaners together. My peps hid but they didn't fight.

maybe a galaxea coral! galaxy... u might have to move that powerhead a bit though so its not blowing directly on it!
