the calcium reactor will make you life easier with reefing !just change the media every 6 months.less water changes too
because your calcium ,alkalinity and magnesium will be stable.just add lugol's solution on your tap off maybe a kalkwasser once in a while.
ps i have not change my water for a while now even with a lot of calcium eaters on my tank. come look at the tank

I have a question about calcium reactors. Are they hard to get set correctly and what kind of maintanence is to be expected and how do you know when you have it set properly?

PH CONTROLLER SET THE PH 6.5 TO 6.8 BUT THE INTERNET CLAIMS 6.2 TO 6.5 TO ME IT IS JUST A WASTE OF CO2 AND DECREASE YOUR TANK PH.
I ALSO CHECK THE MEDIA EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT SOLIDIFY.

okay so I would need a ph controller and does the ph controller control how much co2 is allowed out or how does that work

i just hook up the tunze turbelle stream 6201 but i still need the cable to connect to the apex controller .

getting tunze 6205 on the opposite side of the tank.order wave controller cable for the tunze.i still waiting for a refund for the schuran jet stream 1 that was damage on the shipping

Also my paired flame angel likes to eat all of my dying acropora but will not touch healthy ones he just eat my very large purple acro that have RTN i am hoping i am right
