Ok,not to be a d#$% here but who is advising people in this hobby? Is probably not your fault but to have fish, shrimp and a CUC in a 4 day old tank? Have you read ANY literature on how to get started in the hobby? Just wanted to see if I'm the only one that cant believe my eyes when I read some stuff on how people rush their tanks.
you are not the only one. but again we are trying to be respectful and he knows what he did. none of us has done this the right way. and if we did then thats cause we learn by here. but usually we are start off with damsels and such.

I just chose to ignore it since it was blk822's thread anyway...

Am not trying to be disrespectful and I know we all have made our mistakes along the way but in each of my tanks I never rushed the cycle always let them cycle until the nitrogen cycle was completed and it showed through test results. I asked, listened to who I asked and read, compared the answers from reading and asking, took the medium between the two and went from there. I would have never put a living creature in my tanks before the cycle was done. Only living things in there came with my rock. I wish him the best but as adults we should have some, not much but some knowledge before we start a tank- is only fair to the animals we put in.
I hope he doenst lose a bunch of livestock- I dont like to be the one that loses or read about people losing all their livestock, good luck with the tank....Jimmy
Also your right meowzer sorry blk about going off topic in your thread, and sorry to hear about your wrasse, but the tank is still looking good

The SPS arrived bleached and dieing. It didn't die in my tank by my actions and I was given a refund for it. I am running 3 65watt PC lights , 2-50/50 bulbs and 1-actinic. The clam is really open and my corals are looking good and getting more colorful everyday. I did rush this tank and would never do it again.
