I wouldn't worry too much yet. You'll have many different "new tank syndromes". As the tank matures, the less problems you'll have. But the biggest things are making sure your do your regular maintenance stuff - water changes, etc. Other things - increasing flow to reduce dead spots, decrease lighting periods, and reducing waste in your tank - feeding less, etc. To make things easier, Just use the search option above and search titles for "cyanobacteria".
