Ive got two nudibranch as well and I noticed that they spend most of their time in the liverock. If you give your tank about 12 hrs of lighting a day and promote algea growth they will come out. Mind you that youll probibly have to get up just before sun rise just to see them or in the middle of the night. They usally come out at night. I think your peppermint shrimp Might be hidding either behind your LR or it might have dug a hole under your LR. I Have a coral banded shrimp and its got a blueish, purpul back it looks so cool but its aways hidding in my LR. I also love my nudi branches as well but Ive also got the same problem you do. they hardly come out.

tim-o....Sorry for any confusion, but the tank is definatly not cycleing any more. It was up and running with just live rock and water for 6 weeks and after 3.5 weeks the levels were all at 0 (ammonia, nitrates, nitrites) i waited another week and a half after the levels were zeroed to add livestock. Then i added everything, which i understand was quite a bit for a freshly cycled tank, but i talked with some people who said that it woud be ok as long as i monitored all my parameters. Which have never left 0 (except for nitrates which are between 5-10). I certainly know better than to cycle the tank with an anenome though...thats not smart.
g-dude. I miss my nudibranch...its too bad the powerhead ate him. Thats good news about the peppermint shrimp though, i figured he was a goner. Hopefully he will resurface someday!!1

I miss mine to at times but I love it when I catch out of the blue. This time when I catch them out in the morning Im going to place one in a container and call a friend of mine to help ID it. Some times it could take 2-3 weeks before I see them again.

Hey inkman, You say they adopted your bubble anenome as soon as you put it into the tank???? were your percs wild or aquacultured???? Im curious if i were to put something similar in my tank if they would adopt it also???
does anyone know which anenomes percs prefer over others??

No, mine waited quite a while, and as soon as I stopped letting it bug me, I came home from work they were playing around in it. They are all different some people say that theirs never host. And I bought the bubble because everywhere I researched that was one of the preffered Anemones. Mine are supposedly wild percs.
