Nope, not usually...with the exception of planktonic-feeding triggers (genera Xanthichthys, Melicthys, and Odonus
).

Wow, this one is beautiful! I'm been thinking about setting up a lionfish tank with an extra tall 30g I have laying around.. I really like the Radiata, Miles, and Antennata Lionfish, but of course I'm going to have to do alot more research first :p

The lion you're liking is actually Pterois mombassae, the Mombasa or Devil Lionfish. This species is often confused with P. antennata
.

Ignore the messy tank..it's just quarantine so I don't care about its looks lol
