Thanx everyone for their concern. After further review by the Fire Marshal and a qualified Union
electrician. It has been determined that over the course of many years of add-ons and remodels, I have a conglomeration of very bad DIY projects that will require significant electrical rewiring. I will add by saying to you Darth i know that even a qualified Non-union electrician would have never done what i have been informed of and now have had the opportunity to see.BTW i fully expected this from you
lol
Just an update.Electrician finished up today, and there is a new twist.Since my old panel wasn't labeled ,it appears that i turned off the wrong breaker and i still had power running the the point of ignition.
so here is the final conclusion.
Apparently since i had my refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, kitchen lights & outlets, dinning room lights &outlets, living room lights and outlets,,outside lights, garage lights & outlets,Plus 3- 250w MH ,Reeflo Dart ...(all my aquarium stuff) on one circuit, the wire just couldn't hold up .Apparently some one in the past probably decided that since the breaker kept tripping that they would fix the problem by replacing a 15 amp breaker with a 30 amp. In addition to that the wires weren't long enough in the breaker box so the spliced them in the box to make them longer.
Here is what wire looks like that is overloaded before it burst into flames,Note....these are 2 separate lines that fuse together.

And some update photos... I started insulating and hanging last night a 7:00pm and had on the base coat on by 3:00 am.I think i did ok considering i had no help.It sux to hang drywall by yourself.

Here where i got to today.

Whoa....so this was above the kitchen? I missed that. Nice drywall work though, and congrats on jumping on it, vs. letting the mess sit for 2 months. Sounds like it's not a wiring problem per say, where you would have to rewire the whole freaking house, but rather an overload. This is somewhat better news for you I bet....
