Seriously though, mice suck, never had them in the house but we had some at our store and they stole the rice and peanut butter off the traps every night, ended up having to use sticky traps which are terrible.
Those are some smart mice. Are you sure you don't live near a nuclear power plant or a animal testing lab or something?

Do you want the ferret army or the terriers, both are more than willing to kill mice, the ferrets have experience on their side though

My daughter wants a ferret. Not going to happen.
And I refuse to use the sticky traps!!!
We have seen the mouse a few more times, but so far the traps haven't caught him.

I just hate to kill things...it is only in my house cuz it's trying to stay warm.
But THANK GOD it's not a spider.

I don't mind bugs. I AM ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY COMPLETELY PETRIFIED OF SPIDERS

LoL oh dear. you'd be just loads of fun out here!!

Oh, I'm loads of fun here. Down by our creek we get those big, hairy wolf spiders that stand like an inch off the ground. I actually found one in the house one day.
And we get these funky green and orange spiders in the garden.

Have seen Mickey several times now and he is eating the food off the traps but the traps aren't getting him.

Now hubby wants to buy some of those sticky traps

Hubby is not putting the peanut butter on right then. He needs to put it on before he sets the trap. He also has to get it into some of the nooks and crannys of the trigger. (Sorry for the details to follow) You want the little dude to really work at getting the PB so he pushes down on the trigger. Also don't put a ton of PB on the trigger so he gets filled up and stops eating.

You of course want to mention this to him the correct way. As seen from some of the macho attitudes on this board, you would not want to call into question his hunting skills.
