My brother is one of the highest rated football players in the state of Maryland. He still has his Senior to go. As of now Monmouth and Army have offered him full football scholarships. A few others schools are in talks weekly and want to see if last year as a Jr was just a stepping stone to better things to come. As of now Cornell Dartmouth William and Mary Villanova Richmond New Hampshire and James Madison.

Whats even crazier is that the coaches didnt really run him till the 4th game and he missed a game with the flu. They went to the playoffs. In a total of 7 games he had about 1200 yards. This year his team is Favorite to win the Class AAA Championship.

Well, you never know....I'm sure you have heard the story of Michael Jordan? His coach back in school told him he wasn't worth a crap. Look where he is today.
Still, your bro has some sick skills there. You should be proud dude.

Thank you everybody.
T316 His skills will be showcased this year. He switched schools from his Soph. year to his Jr year. The coaches didnt really know what he had. Now they do. I expect big things from him this year. He is on everybody's radar now. Articles in the Washington Post all the local news papers. Chat Forums. No hiding him now.

That's awesome! My hubby is an West Point grad. WP is a great school that will offer your brother a very challenging education in addition to the football program.

Well just an update.
My brother finished his Senior year. He has been to the Playoffs every year and made it to the State Championship for Maryland Class 4A.
More Offers have rolled in. He finished the year with 80 Tackles 9 sacks 14 TFL. Almost 1200 yards in 9 games with 18 tds. He missed the first two with an Injury.
Voted by many as the best back in the county. Has been selected as 1 of 3 running backs to play in the Maryland All star game. They only Select 45 players for each team.
Here is a final clip of his Senior Year.

Probably going to choose between Maine and Cornell. We went to Army. That school just isnt for him. We talked to a lot of the kids. Not one said they were happy. They just said you get used too it. Thats isnt what College is about.

Wow. I loved the video. Checked out his web site and that was a great tv interview. Were you the brother that was giving him grief for playing soccer?
Let us know where he goes. Maybe I can watch him play on a Saturday game.

are most of his college offers as a LB rather than RB? Just read the back page article of Sports Illustrated...most caucasian high school running backs are made into college linebackers...
The only thing that I see him missing is break-away speed...he certainly doesn't mind jumping over people (which is MUCH easier in high school than in college)! Good athlete, I would take him at LB for the Buckeyes!

People can take this for what they want but you are right. Colleges want a black runningback. Almost every single major D1 school has 3 or 4 on the depth Chart. He is a great LB. I think a better Lb than RB but he wants to play want he wants in College. He has the oferes at RB. Cornell Maine both want him badly at RB.
Maybe these will change your mind.

He is 215 and runs a 4.56 then backed it up with a 4.54 at a Fully Sanctioned Under Armor Combine that uses lasers not a person.

In looking at this site, I think that his best bet to make it (to the next level) would be to hope for an offer from Virginia or Maryland. If they want him as a LB, he goes in as a LB and just shows them a work ethic and a determination that doesn't allow them to keep him off the field on offense. In looking at the videos, he has talent oozing out of every orifice of his body...if his work ethic is half what his talent level is, those schools would be thrilled to have him. I still say that the speed is a little sketchy for a college home-run type RB, but I have been wrong before.
He is on my list of players that I will be keeping an eye on in the future.

hehe, every time I hear someone complain about the lack of black quarterbacks, I start complaining about no white runningbacks.
Now, it would be distinguished to be a west point graduate, if he has any professional aspirations, I wouldn't go. You'd have to serve for several years first...
