Ya can't worry about the rest. It could have been a certain series of events that caused the mandy to be ill.

It broke my heart when my clam died. I couldn't sleep the night after I lost a cleaner shrimp and replaced it.. kept getting up in the middle of the night to make sure he was still alive.. I <3 my little fellas.

As in local waters.
He was a snail I had collected in the wanders from Texas. At the time I didn't know what it was, so I just called it the local snail. I took him with me in the car when I moved to California in a little cup of water. And we just started calling him Local.
He turned out to be a nerite.
