LOL...I never throw anything away....I'm glad too...cause I have a birdsnest that recently came back to life.....and a piece of rock that I got from someone that had some zoa on it....they disappeared, but I left the rock in the place.....all of a sudden (after many months) I now see a zoa coming back
 
I also had an orange digitata break...well my husband kept telling me to toss the plug, it was ugly, well I took a chance that it would grow......the plug is now covered, and it is growing upwards
