i am pretty sure i can catch them, i guess the toilet bowl is in their near future. While they look ok, i don't plan on having them as the only fish in my tank, and with their aggressive nature that leaves me little choice.

I'd ask your LFS if they will take them back or if anyone local wants them before you flush

Okay, that's actually a little insulting...at least given most people's experience with LFS. The difference is they are looking to give you whatever advice allows them to sell you more. We will try to tell you what's worked for us. I'd hope that's worth something.
Well i am about as likely to believe what i read on the internet about as much as a person who'se interest lies in me spending my $$$. Remember this is the internet and you can't always believe everything you read.
(however if you ARE one of those people who do believe everything, disreguard everything else i posted and let me tell you about how i am an arbic prince who if you send me $3,000 in cash i will in return send you a check for $100,000 !!!!!!)

This is true, but lets face it if the fish are worth litte $$$ it would cost me more in gas and time to take them someplace. So in order to cut my losses with these little angry fish, their fate might be the cosmic swerling bowl. I will attempt to find someone who wants these pissed off little terrors but it seems that most wise people would avoid these evil spawned fish of satan.

The rest of the internet notwithstanding, you'll find this particular board to be full of pretty smart and experienced people who want to help. They are generally worth listening to.

it looks to me like at least one of your anemones is a condylactus. which in my experience did not require tons of light, basically lighting is immaterial to them and they can survive under regular florescent bulbs. but I would definitely raise my salinity. and take my fish back to the store, some how you can test your water at thee different places but you cant take your fish to a store... you'll be back there, so just wait to take them out. store credit is store credit.

what store is going to want 5 angry fish that are a pain in the ass to catch in the first place? lol bottom line is; unless any of you are in the metro detroit area and want 5 pissed off fish (message me if you are interested) or these little guys do one last clockwise spin.

many stores will. give them a call first to make sure they want them, even if you dont get credit just give them to them, it dosnt matter. I work at a store and we take in pissed off damsels all the time. there is no other kind. hell, even if you want to tell them they are not aggressive thats fine. happens to us all the time.

ok well i thought for certain that both of the sally lightfoot crabs i bought were a goner because of my mob of 5 angry fish, it has been two days since i have seen either of them and i am concerned this morning. HOWEVER i come home from work and look inside to find both are healthy and doing fine, they are just hidden and really hard to see. I am glad they both have made it, this might be their reprieve and perhaps one by one i will take them to the fish store.
I really want to get my tank set up where i could have a few shrimp and several other things that would work friendly together.

Congrats on the big tank! is this your first SW? Are the lights you have on there PowerCompacts or T5's? Maybe the 'nems are doing poorly because the bulbs actually stop producing the light they need after a certain period of time .

thanks,
the bulbs say f40-t12 one says plus and produces a white light the other says aquadic and produces a blue

OK so i got a few things from the LFS today:
i got two "elite 300watt" water heaters, to insure that if one fails the other will take over as a failsafe.
I got two new bulbs for my lights; one marine-glo and one power-glo 40watt. The light seems to give off alot more blue, i noticed that the yello in the one fish isn't as bright but the blue in the other 4 is amazing now.
I also picked up one Coral Banded Shrimp which is now in the tank and fending off the damsels, it seems that the damsels have accepted the two sally lightfoot crabs as not being food and have stopped "checking them out" the shrimp was rather large compaired to the dozen or so they had at the LFS, a few of the fish seem less interested in this new guy, probally do to his size and the fact every time they come near he lashes them in the eyes with his antennas and they avoid him.

i am sorry to tell you this, but if the demsel become over aggresive towards the CB shrimp, he will die from stress as they are aggressive themselves but are not match for a group of desmels whos whole purpose in life is to aggrivate tank mates.

LOL i know this, they seemed to have a few hours of "testing" him before deeming him as something that is not food and he has been roaming around the tank unpestered. I think the damsels once they determine that this tankmate isn't something to eat seem to do fine. I was worried about my sally lightfoot crabs but they just needed a little bit of time to establish themself as something else in the tank. Now they are freely roaming the rocks without much interest from the damsels.
I chose a CB shrimp because of several reasons (one being he was a mere $10) while everything indicates that my tank is ideal for having shrimp the CB shrimp is my test subject, if after a few months all is well he will be returning to the LFS along with the damsels, so i can buy other peaceful shrimp and things that get along with them.
I must say however the CB shrimp is alot of fun to observe.

ok here are the 5 angry fish from my tank:

This is the biggest one of the 5, he pretty much runs the tank, not too aggressive unless it's feeding time.

this is his little buddy who has alot more color.

this is my favrote of the bunch; probally the smallest but without a doubt the most angry, he will attack my arm when i am cleaning the tank. there is another fish that looks like this one only has no color and only comes out as a blob in every picture, i think of him as "back ground" fish, just an extra in the tank.

this one is rather boring and is the only fish that isn't as a pair in the tank. I like this fish the least and he seems to know he is the "5th wheel fish"

well it was sufficient for them to live 2 years before i had the tank with exactly the same lights.
the bulbs get weeker with age. if they are 2 years old they are not near as brigt as they were new.

i never said the bulbs were two years old, just the setup was, along with the anemone that are in the tank.

I think you have the right idea in taking it slow and definitely get rid of the damsels if you want a community tank.
Has the anemone perked back up?

I'm not usually one to beat a dead horse but in the remark about trusting people on here about as much as you'd trust someone from a LFS..I take offense to that as i'm sure everyone else did who read it. None of us are here to sell said person's anything. We're all here because we love anything and everything saltwater fish and enjoy imparting our experiences and wisdoms in our hobby. Believe me, I'd take more into consideration advice given to me here rather than some guy who wants my money. Now that's not to say I take everything at face value.

Happy Reefing (even if you aren't planning on actually reefing, I didn't know what else to call it
)

back 2 years ago when i started off i baught 2 clowns "common" after about a month after setting tank up
About 3 month in i baught a nice little anemone "bubble tip if i remember correctly"
had it in the tank for about 4 days and start to look from a beautifull anemone to a poorly ill dark weaping anemone.
i learnt you need very tip top conditions to keep these.
not saying you should or dont have tip top conditions

but if your tank is not mature like a good 6 months.
i took mine bk to the lfs and with in 2 days at the lfs it was blooming up again.
