lol, poor thing died a long time ago, i never take out the shells...that way my other snails can use it if they want to do so....
the star had the best of the snail in the end though. i guess there's nothing better for a star than some raw snail

I recently got my first Torch coral also. I paid way more than $15 though. I paid $70, put mine has at least 12 branches and is huge. And in the morning before the light comes on I can see what looks like a new branch growing. :notsure: Don't know much about this coral stuff.... So is he growing new branches? Anyone?

Hiya,
I also added a piece of tourch coral to my tank, paid a little more then you, but it had two heads on it.
Mine's tenticals are really dark like yours, does that mean it's healthy? Though, it's hasn't fully extended yet, I may have it in to high a flow.
What are you going to feed it?

i thought it would eat whatever i feed my fish....which is brine shrimp and chopped up squid. :notsure:
i also have some micro plankton in a bottle....green stuff....not sure if it will eat that but it's worth a try
i read somewhere that it has to be open to take the food....how do you know when it's open?

Nice torch! That one tenticle sticking up in all the pictures makes it look like it's giving the finger. Just be sure to watch out for that coral's sweepers; they can get quite long and cause damage to other corals.
