Beatiful burmese! I've always wanted an albino, but like many, can't keep a snake that gets so large. Ahhh one can dream though.....

I'm really hoping I'm correct on the --- and it's a male. I can handle a 10' - 12' long snake but there's no way I'd ever be able to handle an 18' - 20' female.

That would be the more unpleasant aspects of keeping snakes. Two of my snakes prey have now turned into 2 more pets!

One thing...I gotta remember, next time, to leave his hide box in the tank. I took it out so the rat couldn't run in and hide.
I've tried to put the box back in the tank twice now and every time I try, he strikes at me. I guess they get cranky, after eating.

I would say he wants another rat.

My buddy, who I was talking about earlier, just pointed me towards www.rodentpro.com.
Five, large, frozen rats for only $6! I just paid $5, for that baby, eariler.
I'm ordering now!

AW, that is the issue with having the living enclosure and the fitting area the same. While your herp friend may differ, most herp experts say it does matter.
And I agree, he is still hungry and that is why he is stricking.

He was fine, today...I just put him away, after having him outside for half an hour, or so.
I finally got an exact measurement...he's 4' 10", nose to tail.
