my new little pico

HI! so i started a pico just a little under two months ago... all the rock sand and coral came from my 12 gallon tank. Im planning on putting a sexy shrimp in when the lfs gets one...does anyone else have a pico? if so post. I would love to see what people do with them.

How do you have time to maintain your 12 gal and now this nano?

If the temp runs well you might be able to put a catalina in it. seen one in a tank smaller than that for many months (still alive don't know how long it has been in there).
Is that a trumpet corral in there?

it's not that hard. I top it off 3 times a day and the water changes are not that much.

Yeah it is trumpet coral. My emerald crab always knocked them over in my 12 so they weren’t doing so great so I moved them to the pico and they puff out nicely in it.

i love catalinas they are soo cute...but my temps a little high for it.

Depends on who you ask, some say under 3 gallons is pico. But it's the smallest of the small...

I think its a .8 gallon with a 7 watt pc. The live rock was just rubble that i was using in the filter in my 12g. Right now, theres only a few small hermet crabs and some coral, but my lfs might get the sexy shrimp tomorrow.
