I like the nano
You could use the sand rock and water from your current setup.
I think I would wait a few weeks just to make sure you dont have a small cycle
Other upgrades that I would do is the skimmer mod- I will find a pic for you. Also dont use the bio balls or ceramic thingys
Use live rock pieces. I also have macro algaes in the live rock section.
Also get a bag of Chemi-Pure- THAT STUFF IS GREAT!
I switched the return pump to a Rio 400, should have got the 600
I think I will wait a bit because it was a serious pain in the but when the tank is full!
The PH I use is a Eheim 600- it is very nice and I have mine probably 70-75% open.
You really want as much flow as possible. The Eheim puts out 153gph on high, mine is probably 100-110gph right now.

Here are some new zoos I got yesterday. They are really colorful! There are 2 maybe 3 of the yellow with orange centers and 3 orange with yellow centers.
I also got another rock with pink and green zoos but they havent opened yet. Just a few peeking out today.

I really want to get a NanoCube too.
I have some black sand in my freshwater tank right now, I like it a lot.

Is it adjustable?
I know if I turn my Eheim up to max which is 153GPH it will shoot water out of the tank.
If it is adjustable it would be sweet.

one more thing could you e mail me those plans for those moon lights i want to make a working model for a project at school and those lights would be kickass in there
also i want to mak a moon light for my nano

ClarkiiClo: I love your nano-. I really like the way the black sand blends with the rest of the tank so that everythig else is accented. I have only been on this board for a few days and there is so much information here I can't absorb it all. I want to set up a nano and am trying to weed through as many posts as I can to gather information on what and how...
I was wondering if you could also send me the plans for the moon lights you made? I deffinately want to do something like that for mine when I get it going.

How do you like the acro? I have a 10g nano with a 96w powerquad light over it. Do you think an acro would work in it? Great tank by the way. I only have a green brain in mine right now, but hopefuly it will look like yours one day.

I love the acro. It is the only SPS I have. So far it has been 3 weeks and the color is still good. Polyps extend well. I think it is gonna make it.

My score of the week. Three super cool purple and blue tongan mushrooms for 10 bucks!
I call them shrooms on a stick
