yeah id say it was just shedding or something! Nothing to worrk about if its already doing well.
Maybe something landed on that spot and didnt get blown off with the current? Who knows!
Hope the surgery goes well and you'll be in our prayers!

Thanks rebel
Sorry have not had much time to post pic's , been real busy trying to get the house ready. Shopping and finishing up some home projects like winterizing everything. This is the bad part of living alone
, I have to be ready for being on the couch for a few weeks. Then you will all be tired of me because i will be here ALL DAY...EVERYDAY!!!

Well...I have a small cryno (sp) out break
Yea yea I know , I have been over feeding a little lately trying to get that tang to eat more veggies! Well there is some good news , I have a new addition to the zoo. Her name is smokey.....as per usual My photo skills are lacking. Her color is a little darker and you can see the stripes in her fur more in person. Also her eyes are really cool light green. Very sweet and affectionate cat. i decided the dog would be way too much work with a bad knee
No fish pic's ,but here is Smokey...

Smokey is very beautiful, I agree with you 100% on switching from a dog to a cat w/ knee surgery around the corner. Is your G/F still getting a dog???

thanks guys
no she was only getting the dog if I was getting the brother...so I think she is a little po'd at me.She had her heart set on the dog
She does understand this way is allot less work for her too over the next few months. And she said when we p/u the cat "I am not a cat person" then by the time she left tonight she was on the floor playing with her and saying " Hmmm maybe I should get a cat too!
" She is a animal lover.

My wife ...the same way, her Father never let them have animals. So the day we decided to build our house and get married....
Skittles- Conjure parrot-LOUD
Sarge- Boxer (my avatar)
Sera, Semo and Shadow- our cats
Now my two tanks...

A pic of the three cats hanging out:

I am just as much of an animal lover as my wife, but I cannot tell you how depressed we will be if anything happens to our animal family.

awwww nice cats! Smoky keep me up late , all she wanted to do was roll around on my bed a purr and play! She adjusted to my house fast

Meanwhile.....back at the tank..... started treating it yesterday with macryan (sp?) I have used it in the past for cryno and it works great without hurting anything. Have to treat it again in 7 days , then it will be gone.

I love cats. I am allergic or should say I was. It was one of those things where my parents knew I was allergic yet we always had cats, so I developed an immunity to it. So now, I have 1 cat and one miniature dachsund. I love animals as well.
Good luck with the cyano, I had it a month or two back. I ended up using chemi-clean and it did the job. Only thing was is I did end up getting an ammonia spike 2 days after I added it. I just did a little water change and it took it down to where it wasn't a big deal. To be honest, it did freak me out when I saw the ammonia starting to climb. I am not sure if I caught it in time, or if it wasn't going to go that high anyway
Just wanted to share my experience with you.
I really hope your knee surgery is a success this time and hope you can keep yourself busy when you are laid up, remember to stay positive

Thanks subie

I treated the tank yesterday , my question is should i do a water change now? I had the water made up for a couple days. Prob. should have done the w/c before I treated huh?
Anyway if I change 10gal of water now will it take out too much of the treatment?? Any input would be great ,I only have tomorrow to do it , If not it will have to wait til next week after I am home fro the hospital. Here a a couple pic's of my little red problem....

Hey look it's Mr.Grumpy making a appearance...looking for food! I am trying not to feed allot for a couple days to help with the cyano
