Is that sociopathic enough for ya?
HEY.....that's pretty good
Any others dare to compete with that?

Ok , I have been chasing this guy around for weeks!!!
and I swear he gets bigger everyday! I am thinking Gorilla crab , but when i see him he is always eating algae
and he never bothers snails or other crabs around him. He also seems to be living close to my cave dwelling Goby and the CBS. So what do you guys think? sorry about the pic's but he don't show his face too often , but I have noticed he is coming out more and more.

Thanks rebel , now I have to try to get him out
Of course he lives in a rock on the very bottom of the tank!
Rotary , thanks for the Jack
as usual I have NO idea what your talking about , but I assume it was a shot at Rebel
Thanks for stopping by.

IMO any crab that has that shape is a potential problem. (including emeralds) I banish all to the center chamber of my biocube. but remember pointy claws like reb said but especially black tipped pointy claws mean the DEVIL!!!!

That's what I thought
I have had more problems with Gorilla crabs then anyone in this hobby! Like I said he NEVER comes all the way out , but i am trying to find his main home right now. i have it narrowed down to 2 places i see him often. But of course both spots are at the very bottom and under the most rocks as possible. I think they know where the hardest place is to hide!!

update on Mr.gorilla crab , my son and I thought we had him in a rock. So we moved about 10 pieces of coral and removed the rock ( the largest in the tank mind you) put it in a bucket and filled it with cold RO water....Nothing! then we checked every nook and still....NOTHING! we replaced it and re-arranged the tank. Then today we found him in another rock , this one we could not remove, so I stabbed him with a long metal rod. I think I got him, at least I got part of him because I saw something fly. Maybe a leg? Maybe a piece of hie head? anyway we are still looking , so far no sign of him. I guess we will just keep our fingers crossed. By the way we saw him eating a large piece of a leather coral , that is why we went hunting so please i don't want to hear how we should have "saved him" or put him in the sump , this thing is a devil killer.....until next time. P.S. MERRY CHRISTMAS
Santa please bring me a DEAD crab

I thought the bad crab was gone.......BUT , I saw him a couple days ago
He is smart , he stays wayyyy at the bottom and NEVER comes out in the open. My son is coming over so he and I are going to try to catch him. Just set up the old 24gal nano again , someone is supposed to buy this tank but I think he is backing out...sooooo I guess I will be back to 2 tanks again! o well
