That is SO awesome! I didn't realize how small it was until I saw it with the egg... That's nuts! I want one!

Your octopus is fantastic! I hope he lives a long time with you. I've had my pacific two spot for almost a year and a half, and dread the day she'll die. They don't last long after their eggs hatch. I didn't know mine was a she until she laid eggs. Oddly enough, they hatched! I now have almost 400 tiny octopus on my hands. She's still alive, but I know the clock is ticking....Enjoy Einstein!

O. bimaculoides or bimaculatus? Bimaculoides are large enough when they hatch to raise. Live mysis shrimp for a couple of weeks, then tiny hermits and snails. Good luck. Great picture.

yup, they're Bimaculoides. They seem to be a bit bigger than when they hatched. They're really hard to find, they really seem to be able to disappear into the rock work. Mom is still alive, I don't know for how much longer though. Here's a video of the babies.

It looks really neat I want one but I heard they dont live long and my mom would kill me if a brought one more tank in the house. good luck!
