My New Reconfigured 75

I got rid of the 150 and sold some of my fish off. Part of the deal was a Flame Angel and a Powder Blue tang. They are both very very small. I think the flame Angel is about an inch. The Powder Blue is around 2.5 maybe 3. He fits right in. When he outgrows the tank I will sell him. But for now he is right at home and great looking addition.
I have had both fish since last night. They were qtd in the former persons tank. I know him well. I added them right away. The Flame is eating like a champ. The PBT is hiding some.
The BiColor Chased the Flame around some but now they have leveled out. Some chasing still occurs but nothing major. I think in a few more days they will be fine. Evere since I put the BiColor and clowns back in the tank it seemed so empty. The BiColor was with an Emp angel and Largeer Kole tang. Lets just say he wasnt the king of the tank.
Now he is. He has shown the PBT who is boss and the PBT has conceeded. I found that to be very odd as they are about the same size. The Clown pair dont put up with anybody crap period but they do their own thing in the rock they have decided to host
Some new pics. It was never broken down and the rock in the 150 was transfered back over. I rearranged it.
Oh the two Dwarfs together. My god are they two most gorgeous fish I have ever owned. They make eachs other colors just pop.

hiding like a punk. when i walk away he swims around picking at the rock work and just being normal. When I get up on the tank he hides. They are very very pretty fish. I had them underrated in that category.

well the two angels are friends now. Some chasing every so often but the BiColor has seemed to accept his new tank mate fully. I was worried a little but the size difference I think is key. The Flame is literally half his size but has a fercious appetite. He loves mysis shrimp. He wont anything else I feed but picks on my 1 year old rock. o that helps. I have been feeding 4 times a day. The PBT wont eat as much.
What do they eat? The guy said he was feeding blood worms and mysis but he picks at my rock. I threw in some spurilina flakes and everybody but him ate. Then I rubber banded a algae sheet he wouldnt touch it. Its only been two days. He is picking though. See what happens.

Are you refering to the PBT and what he will eat? If so, my tangs tear up "Ocean Nutrition" formula 2 pellets (the small to medium).
How did you like all that snow? We had 22 inches down here in southern maryland.

I had about 20. It was fun. Now it just sucks. People love it as its falling down. They forget the pain in the rear it turns into once its here starts to mlet then freezes then lets then freezes Ya know?
Do These guys eat letteuce or anything like that?
He wont eat for me just yet. He is picking which is nice but wont eat and is looking skinny.

I'm afraid PBT are one of the species of tangs that needs a lot of room even when small. If you read up on WWM, you'll see that they have a huge territory in the ocean which is why they have such trouble adapting to our glass boxes. I had one for over a year and even a 150 was too small for it. The way yours was darting around in that video, that's what they do when they feel boxed in, mine did that for a year before I gave it to someone with a huge 8' tank.

that was after he was just placed in the tank and not used to his surroundings or the other fish. Honestly he isnt doing it now and hasnt been for a few days. He swims around just fine and hangs out with my BiColor a lot. When he see's me he darts and hides. If I had a better camera I would zoom in and show you how he acts when the coast is clear.

i was told to feed my PBT "Angel Formula", it comes in frozen cubes and he absolutely loves it. mine is a very picky eater and will only eat this frozen food which is full of what they feast on in the wild (marine sponges, algae, and other marine foods). its supposed to "enhance breeding color and promote excellent health". i also leave algae sheets in the tank on a clip that he will snack on throughout the day. PBT's are grazers so they will pick at your rocks and eat algae (and probably those little white sponges that pop up time and again as mine does) but mine loves some angel formula 2 and some nice dried algae sheets.

btw that is one gorgeous fish. i love how they keep their upper and lower fins extended and they swim around the tank. it just makes them look so beautiful showing off those brilliant yellows and baby blues. absolutely stunning fish and one of my favorites. be very careful with them though because they are like the second most susceptible fish to ick and other diseases when introduced to a new tank, any little stressor and they can turn into ich nurseries. when i got mine i added "Marine-Max" probiotic to my tank everyday for the first two weeks and once every week or two after that and i have never had a problem with ick, or any other harmful parasites, in this particular tank. i have another tank "thats my girlfriends tank"--which i buy everything for and take care of--and we had a blue hippo get ick within his first week of being introduced; added some marine max for a few days and within a week he was back to normal...i swear by the stuff!

I know all about ICH. Its ICH free. I know it for a fact. All my fish are. I would never ever place a tang of any sort in my tank if I didnt qt it myself or I knew it was already.
I have angel formula and pygmy angel formula. I will try and feed that later on today.
