Congratulations! We all remember our first cars. See, dealing with all those 'interesting' people at the drive thru paid off.

oh yay road trip !!!! now you have to come visit us !!!!!!!!!

be careful on the road especially with winter approaching , keep a bottle of water and a small first aid kit and a small roadside assist kit as well as a blanket
all those things could fit in a backpack and can save your life if you got stranded, sorry to go all mom on you but thats mah job , oh
and never assume that the dumb broad in front of you is turning just cause she has her blinker on.
our baby girl is growing up
...seriously have a blast !!!and congrats you worked so hard for this and you deserve it

By the way, that is a nice first car Alix. My first was a 76 AMC Concord in piss yellow. Was a hand-me-down from my grandmother.

Hey, my first ride was my grandmas car. She had a 65 ford fairlane 500 California Special. I don't know what possessed her to buy that car but it was a great first car. Wish I had the thing now, that model was rare.

I was happy to get my first car --- 82 pontiac phoenix which was 2 tone maroon. Had a big scratch on the hood and one scraped up fender. Cost 150 bucks, needed a new crankshaft but after it was fixed got 25 mpg, back seat folded down for fishing, hunting, camping and took me everywhere I needed to go. The bad part was no heater and during the North Dakota winter that got rough.
Congrats on the car. No congrats on the car payment though (if there is one).
