My new YUMA

HEY BANG....Do they spread like regular mushrooms, or do they split? This is my second YUMA, and the first was a solo....and still is a solo :(

They reproduce in the same three ways that all mushrooms do. The difference is that Yuma seem to split more often IME.
Have you tried directly feeding the solitary Yuma?

...PURDY!!!! I like the Yuma mushrooms too. Very nice, I hope it splits often, and you have a bunch in no time.

Actually yes I have, BUT.....they don;t seem to let the food stick to them like torch corals or even anemones
Well this is my 2nd one, the first has grown some.....but nothing else......I do know I have different types of mushrooms that seem to stay the same for a while then all of a sudden BOOM.....they grow
so we shall see....this new one is really nice...SOOOO I hope for good growth

Try lowering the waterflow and giving it a big piece of seafood. It should slowly curl its disk around the food.
A quicker way to propogate them is to cut off part of the foot. Leave both pieces on the rock but make sure the pieces are completely seperate. The piece of foot will grow into another Mushroom.

OK....I usually put the MP's on feed mode.....I will try tomorrow morning with a piece of shrimp and see how it goes
I'm scared to cut anything.....I do not have the best luck :( SOOO I try to just let boxed nature take it's course ;)
