What's your fish stock list looking like right now?
Oh, and good luck on the vodka. I've been doing a carbon blend for a few weeks now, with Microbacter7 dosing as well. It's taken about 2 weeks to build up, but I think I'm starting to see some progress with algae issues and polyp extension. I'd like to know your observations in your tank when you start!

as of right now i got:
3 lyretail anthias
B&W clown
semi-picasso clown
flame angel
scooter blenny
white watchman goby
neon goby
and will do. i started dosing 4 days ago so lets see how its coming out :)

Definitely good luck with the dosing! What didn't you like about the volcano? I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it will work in this type of application. Could you use a fake volcano decoration for FW and either make your own live rock around the mold or use base rock, live rock, dead rock or whatever type of rock and epoxy it to the volcano? I'm probably totally off base, but thought I would try.

the bartletts are a great idea......you know how I feel about anthias :(
i know they grow but i want them to start off small

really, after seeing your tank and many others the coloration and growth of many corals got me. i have a friend who has a not shallow but a good 16inch tall reef tank with kind of the same equipment and hes been dosing the vodka for a while without dosing anything else and the growth from his corals mostly sps have been amazing. and the colors have pop out so much more. i guess i just wanted to give it a try and see how my tank will react to it. hopefully i get the same results as you and many other reefers. only time will tell. thanks for stopping by. i thought you never were gonna come by

well i got a few sps frags from ora today. a ORA JOE THE CORAL and ORA MIMF PURPLE AND GREEN ACRO. and also a tyree something. pics to come :)

Hey, you never answered my question. If you want, I could try to make a volcano for you. I have a mold that should work and all I would need is the dimensions.
