i have a 36 gallon (bowfront...ugh) lol
there are 11 teeth. each one is 1" high and 1/4" wide approx.
the top of my sump is 1' below the bottom of my DT. the DT is 21" high. and from the drain in the overflow to the top of my sump...about almost 2'
they do allow in a pretty good amount of water but idk exactly how much if i could guess. cutting the teeth is a good option.

If I recall right your teeth diemensions will allow 40GPH per tooth. So, with the 1300 you should be solid.
I sure would like those head heights. The short drop will hurt the drain performance a bit.
Man I thought you were all setup and running this the way you wanted. Maybe I missed something. It all makes sense about this not working for you now.

you want head heights for the pump sizes? at 3' the 1300 pumps around 220 gph not accounting for angles and such. should i go with the 1800 perhaps? it will do 350PGH. and if that isnt too much then the 2300 does 450PGH...still not accounting for head loss

Doh, I get confused last night while I was looking at them. Your right. Is the 1800 with head loss??
See I got a little confuzid as I was misleading myself on the pump GPH. I also thought you had a 58 Gallon tank.

lol. none account for head loss.
the chart on the box i have for my current pump is hard to read accurately. if you google image: via aqua pump, one of the images on the first page is from the 'depot' site and it shows some, not all of the pumps head loss charts alot more accurately. idk which to choose now...,my pump to into tank has about 3-3 1/2 feet of pipes to go through...i just measured. which IYO seems good? also include 3 90s and 2 45s + a ball valve and union coupling.

It looks to me like the 2600 is 400GPH at 4 feet. So I would go with that if it has to be a via aqua.

When do you think you will get this stuff?? A week?
I am going to play with my idea about the stockman pipe. That is why I wanted to know your distance on the drain. Head height applies to drains as well as returns. If it works out I will run it past you.
I gotta run for the night friend. On OT all this week and I gotta get up at 3AM. I am glade it is friday.
Peace.
