if your wondering why the right side looks more blue than theleft side is because my left LED is not working the way it should . and some of my fish like some belenies and mandarin and gobies are some where in the rocks .

Do you run any carbon in your filter? If so do you change it out often enough? Do you run any filter pads or floss? Do you change it out often enough?

Does your water have a yellowish tinge to it if you scoop some out and place it in a white cup...compare your tank water to some bottled water or tap water in color....I see a yellowish tinge..but that couls just be the pic quality.

Carbon, run it longer that you are and change it every 3 days or so,or Chemi Pure Elite and or Purigen full time.

has the tank been cloudy like this from the beginning...tiny particlew could be a result of a poorly rinsed sand bed from the beginning of start up...tank would get dloudier as the fish and inverts stir up the bed when daylight movement heightens.

Just my .02, I think your mechanical filtration needs a boost. If in fact it is the sand or if the current filtration is unable to keep ahead of the bioload or is for some reason running innefficiently, this is what immediately springs to mind looking at this tank. If this were my tank, I would immediately add additional filtration. I really don't think a tank can be "overfiltered". Given the expense that you have put into this tank, this would be worth it, if even for the short term until your biological filtration matures.
I had a similar situation recently when I moved. It was amazing, within two days the tank was nearly pristine. I gave the biological filtration some time to recover, and was able to remove the supplemental filtration.
It is a beautiful tank and I would love to see it at 100 percent!

Can you post a picture of your sump where the filter pads are. If this is definitely particulate matter you need to position the filter pads, floss etc better or perhaps a filter sock on the pipe leading from your tank to the sump.

Since it hqs been this way since day one...as stated you need to increase mechanical filtration...also do your water changes later in the evening when the tanks is stirred up the most.....this way your water changes will help the problem as well.....a couple cheap penguin style hob filters will take a lot out of the tank.
