N-a-k-e-d Clownfish have arrived!

Cute...For some reason they remind me of the movie "matrix" Scene in particular is when Neo is being questioned by Mr. Smith and they make his mouth disappear....LOL. cant see anything discriptive on those clowns either ...

Beautiful! Did you get them here?
Always liked how those look!
Hi, Yep, I ordered them from SWF. 25.99 each. I posted a message a couple of days ago and asked when SWF was going to get them back in again, SWF soon replied and stated they could put a limited quantity for sale now. Soooooo, I got lucky!

I hope they stay happy swimming in and out of some of my corals, because I don't have an anemone in the tank. I read on the ORA website they like carpet anemones and I have the light to support an anemone, I just don't know if I really want one in my tank. Kind of partial to my watchmen goby.

Yeah, I wouldn't want a carpet, it would eat my goby too... You could try some LPS, like hammer or frogspawn, if you're lucky they'll host that. If not you have the coolest type of coral there is

As you can see, still a work in progress. I do have a hammer coral in my tank but the new clowns are not interested in it. They do seem to like the elegance. Halides have only been on for about 30 min. so some of my corals are still not opened all of the way.

Why not try a Bubble tip anemone?
I have thought about a rose bubble tip. If I knew for sure the clowns would host or vice versa, I would seriously consider putting a rbta in there.

I've read how they host after the coral/anemone is in the tank for 6+ months. It's luck and patience. And then my silly clown hosted my hammer for a day and hasn't touched it since.

Well I'll let you know in 5 or more months then..

I just wanted the poster to know that nothing is guaranteed....

Yes, I get that. I was just saying that you shouldn't give up hope too early.
