Why do we call the last one generation Y?

If you find that stuff offensive. Never ever ever laugh at a joke again. Unless of course you can think of one that cant be brought back to do with someone or somethings short comings.
As long as people are racially offended the world will never be one. As long as you feel like you are different, people are going to let you know that you are different. So its a problem of the offended not the offender. The offender is just taking the easy road to get what they want.
It has become human nature when trying to offend someone to jump right on you for you racial or religous oreintaion( usually hand in hand). Why? because it usually gets the reaction they want instantly. If everyone ignored this type of attack then the attack would be useless.

I can see where it might be insulting to some. I also understand the Spanish culture and humor. This ranks up there with Bull fighting, be it in Portugal, South America what have you. It doesn't matter who, where, or what you are someone somewhere will always be insulted about something. They will just as quickly make jokes about the Pope. I've seen them. To compare this to Ted Danson,,,,,,,, not even in the same leauge due to the way ppl are brought up in the states compared to Europe. This add was not just run in Spain. The majority of Europeans would take it as humor not a racial slam. If you want to get worked up over something,,,,,,try the little girl that faked the song at the opening. The girl you saw was "cute" the girl that actually did the singing was not. a little chubby, teeth not perfect. ect. ect. the government stepped in and made the swap. Tell me that little girl isn't going to feel like crap for the rest of her life. Take a silly photo and go nuts or crush the soul of a seven year old. "You sing very nice but your too ugly to be seen" Hmmmmmmm easy choice for me.

The team meant no offense, but I don't blame anyone for being offended. What I object to is those who refuse to take them at their word that they meant no offense. I would think someone involved in every nations olympic program would verse themselves in the PC world culture that frowns on that sort of thing. But think of this in practical terms, are you going to deliberatly go out of your way to offend the race of the nation you are going to spend the next couple weeks competing in? Of course not.

I dont know if its so much a Southern thing or what.....its just a way to my your truck look better around here in West Virginia we like BIG trucks with BIG tires........a couple of my black buddys have them in there back window also.....its a picture of a White Tail deer standing in front of the reble flag.....does that mean he is racist against his own kind ?
