Looks like a majano anemone to me, post it in the hitchhiker section or maybe spanko will see this. I like the firefish, they are really pretty looking fish, I wonder if you could pair a regular one like you have and a purple one

Also why are your snails upside down, fyi they cannot flip themselves back over. Some snails can but those do not look like they can. Love how the tank is coming along, great job!

thanks, so is a majano anemone a good or bad thing? snails came off glass when i was cleaning... will flip em over

+1 on the snails. some will die if you dont flip them over. also it looks like aptasia....?

i dont see why it would be bad in there but that might alow it to spread faster and they can still sting corals and stuff

Yup, you can either squirt boiling water, use joe's juice, or smear some kalkwasser paste on it.

ya it looks like aipstasia, i get those in my 2nd chamber where my fuge is.

Looking at the picture of your fuge cup I would guess it came in on the Chaetomorph. If in fact that is the case, this is probably not the only one in there. Probably need to keep a close watch on it to see if anymore pop up and if they do you will have to decide if you want to take the chance on keeping this batch in your tank.

Dump it and get a new batch. JMO but not worth it, if you get an outbreak of these babies you will not be a happy camper and neither will your coral.

your firefish is rad! sooooooo cool! glad you got the aiptasia out, best of luck, and i think you have peppermints right? so you should be ok in the main part of the tank!

Yes, got 2-peppermint shrimp. They better feast if i end up with them in the tank
