I have been wanting to do one of these forever now.. I plan on only having zoas in it
What i did was used new sand and a huge cup full from my 24g nano, i also used 1 gallon of water from it.
The Live rock inside was some rock i had in my Fuge, so its nice and seeded
Anyways here are some pics of it. Not the best pics but will do for now

I know it says pictotope....and you say you used 1g from your 24G....BUT what size is it...LOL (1g??)

mark just like what we all say, "we only plan on having zoas on it!" yea no watch little by little you start adding stuff lol great job tho

lol well it will be about 95% Zoas, and 5% mushrooms lol
I plan on gett more rock saturday and may add a frag of zoas in too.. i am gettin excited for this tank lol

LOL!! Yeah well i have wanted on of these for my desk for the longest time.. so now i got one haha
is there any fish that i could get?
im looking for ideas of what to get other than shrooms and zoas

Look for the small gobies, a nice pair of neons Elacatinus oceanops,
Or perhaps a pair of green banded Elacatinus multifasciatus

would rics do ok under the pico stock lighting?

Yup.
Don't discount the green bandeds though. Long thread here but she had green bandeds that continuously had fry running around the tank.

yea i am excited to get this stocked.. so far i just added a frag of my everlasting gobstoppers, and they seem very happy in there.. i think tomarrow i will get few more smalle pieces of live rock and maybe a ric or 2 hehe
