Nassarius snail question

How many nassarius snails should i get in a 29g tank with a 2-3in san bed? My last turbo snail died last week and i need to restock my CUC a little. So im thinking about getting some snails like turbos for the rocks, and some nassarius snails for the sand bed...i just need to know how many is a good number.

nitrates (i think) .

they were at 80ppm. I have them down two 20ppm after 3 50% water changes. Im planning on doing 50% water changes untill im under 10ppm. (which should take about 1-2 more at the rate its been dropping). The reason my nitrates were so high was because a few weeks ago i accidentally spilled a bunch of food (flakes...i was out of mysis) and netted as much as i could which wasnt enough i guess. Its almost back to normal now.
Just out of curiosity....how do you get 12 snails? is there an ammount per gallon or something.
