Actually I worked for a company up in Erie, PA that employeed illegals. And you know what, it made me do my job better and also motivated me to get an education. jobs that require degrees from college are hard for illegals to take. Not that it doesn't happen but illegals are more likely to take the lower paying jobs rather then ones that require a college degree.
To become a RN and LPN you need to pass boards. To even been seated for boards, then run a background check on each student. How is an illegeal going to get past that?

The illegals take jobs those who either can't afford to go to school or don't have the aptitude would usually take. There are a whole lot of trades jobs you see them doing now that 20 years ago were considered a pretty good living, Construction, road crews, landscapers etc.

Well then motive people to get a better education and they won't have to worry. Simple enough. Also, law enforcement really needs to stop employeers from hiring illegals from the beginning. Seriously, if employers and their HR staff would be fined a decent amount that would deture companies from hiring people.
Liek I said the company in Erie, PA I worked for hired employees from the Ukraine and places like that over there because they got tax breaks and the Ukraine people didn't have to pay taxes for 5 years. That is not right. I honestly feel that the USA needs to stop employers from hiring them before concecntrating on the border.
If you cut the head off an animal it dies just like severly punishing companies for hiring illegals then they probably won't do it and it spends money back to the government to spend on doing something about the border.
That border is too much area to cover. Punish the companies and make each future offense more servere and I think that would help with the illegals coming across the border. Once word got back to Mexico that companies were being penalized and not hiring illegels anymore, i feel that might not stop the illegals coming across but slow down the wave.

what I consider a irrational and ridiculous comment is shoot them as they cross over. My husband and I are both educated the jobs we have require an education so I doubt an illegal could take our jobs. even if they did it would be the fault of the employer not the illegal getting hired. So yes I still feel that I would rather live next door to an illegal alien than a racist. We don't see color in our home I have family members who are bi-racial and my God mother, my mother's best friend is 100% mexican. her family was legal and she was born in the US but even if they weren't it wouldn't matter to me.
Nobody answered my question about why do you think automatically that someone on welfare would be a democrat? Statistics show that the average family that recieves food stamps in the US the head of the household is Female, white, divorced, working minimum wage with children just trying to get on their feet and feed the family. over half of those don't get child support from the father of the children. there is no mention of political affiliation here. Nor does someone's yearly income commonly reflect what political party one is. Though in my personal experience I find that Republicans with a high yearly income that can afford to pay higher taxes are the ones to complain or profile. Not trying to profile but this is what I witnessed with people in my area in my life.

So I guess the illegals stealing public services is motive to stop paying taxes? Makes perfect sense

Employer sanctions will only solve a small part of the problem. You still have the issue of identity theft where it can take a couple years before the employer even knows the person has given them false information and then those who pay them cash which the government can never catch.
You have to cut off the public services and that still doesn't solve the problem of those coming across for purely criminal activity. No matter what the ultimate solution we are going to have to seriously beef up the border.

Now the idiot in the oval office has decided to challenge another Arizona immigration law, one the uber liberal 9th circuit even upheld. The law allows the state to pull the licenses of businesses they catch knowingly hiring illegals. Isn't that the policy all the libs always point to as a way to fix the problem? Could it be their opposition to ANY immigration enforcement reveals an agenda other than insuring that people follow the law when immigrating to the country?
