Yep, guys I think we are definitely going to do it. Indiana is definitely beatable. I think Maryland and Kansas will win today, and hell, we've already beat both of them! Maybe a re-match from 88 Kansas and Oklahoma, except this time Oklahoma wins! No matter what we are doing great for a "football" school!

Yah DAB, I guess we are quickly changing our image as a "football school". BTW I stopped by Crystal Clear Aquatics today. I didn't know they were closed on Sundays, but when I looked in the door I saw David in the shop (at least that was the name on the business card he gave me). He let me in to look around. Very nice place! I will definitely be back. Thanks for the tip.

That is my store of choice. Very nice people, and they will try to get you anything you want. I know that the Reef Shop has more inventory, but I don't care for their approach. Just an opinion though.

Sorry Volitan, but glad Dave was there. I was in there Friday and they are short on stock right now, but that's where I always go. they are ordering me a mandarin, been waitin months! Yeah Jond we went through my sob story about the Reef Shop on another thread.I'm stickin with Dave and Janeel at Crystal Clear.

ohh, already ruling out IU huh? well, oklahoma is a good team, but IU is playing with more confidence than oklahoma could ever have. and considering some of the teams they have beat so far....oklahoma will be just another low seeded team to go out of the tourney
i live in indianapolis...but got my BA from IU. was down there last two games partying...and will be down there this saturday. crazy time. saturday night there were police helicopters, cops in riot gear, and a TON of people! can't wait to see what happens.

Sooners should beat the Hoosiers even if they are playing with a lot of confidence. I believe sooners are just a tough team mentally and physically. I don't think IU can match them in this. It's pot-luck at the reef shop. I don't know where they get their fish, but I don't buy fish from them anymore. I like their live rock though. I got aboout 6 or 7 pounds from them for $8 this weekend. They were getting rid of some of thier smaller pieces and it was a good deal. Always good to pick up live rock at cheap prices if not only for fragging coral.

Hmm looks like there is onefly in the ointment, an IU fan comes forward...if only to party...guess we'll find out soon. At least as far as this bb goes we know who the true blue fans are....last 10 out 11 posts have been us SOONER FANS! and yep jond, they do have cheaper lr at the Reef Shop

well, i wouldn't consider myself a "diehard" IU fan.....but it's rare that i miss a game. plus, i lived on campus for 5 years and graduated from there....so i've got to give them support
for some reason though...i don't think they'll have much trouble with OU. i think kent state is a better team than OU and you see what we did with them

Hey OneFlySi, I think you may be looking ahead a little too far. I think you need to re-look at our shedule. In case you didn't know, we beat some very good teams. (UCONN and Maryland just to name a couple) Police helicoptors, riot gear... that sounds like something to be proud of.

and your point is....? did you beat them in the ncaa tourney? nope. teams can play very differently once into the tourney...so regular season is irrelevant IMO.
all i'm saying is oklahoma was expected to make it this far (i had them beating cinn easily), but IU wasn't picked by many just to even make it outta the first round. IU is playing with more confidence than anyone left in the tourney....and are once again underdogs. they have nothing to lose. IMO, the odds are with them.
as for the police and riot gear....it was a precaution smartass. if oklahoma doesn't have this type of situation on campus then their fans must be pretty lame

Yes, it is all about opinions. I also think your team is playing with great intensity and I wish you the best of luck. Our fans lame, no... true fans that support their teams without wanting to trash our city...yes. It has always amazed me when fans support their teams by enciting a riot. But hey, if that is what IU fans enjoy, more power to ya.
And yes, I was being a smartass, I don't think it is "kool".

jond, please read a post very slowly...and then read it again. i never said there WAS a riot...i said the helicopters and police in riot gear were there....for a PRECAUTION. nothing happened, it was just crazy to come outta the bar and see 5 helicopters with spotlights and an unbelievable amount of cops with sheilds and helmets on. now, if OU doesn't have this type of thing on there campus then it is not a real college. i don't care what you say, every campus in the states would have the students going crazy when their sports teams do well. anywho...this is beside the point, from now on read it nice and slow before your quick to the reply <img src="graemlins//yeahright.gif" border="0" alt="[yeahright]" />
as for the game....well, it should be good and may the best team win....(IU)

OneFlySi, I just hope all IU fans, staff, and players are like you and compare OU to Kent St. If you think Kent St. is a better team than OU, you're not going to have a very good day on Saturday. As a matter of fact, IMO, if you're an IU fan at all Saturday will not be a good day.

well volitan, just like jond said...this is all our opinions. kent state may not be a better team record and division wise, but as far as matchups we didn't match up well with them or duke and we prevailed...i hate to see what we do to a team we match up well against. oh well, we'll see i guess!
