I just bought a FS and its acclimating now, I noticed it has about 4 or 5 flat worms crawling on it. What would be the best way of getting rid of them before putting them into my tank and causing more problems???

So I have to go back out and pick some of that up? Thats the only way to do it?
I'm short on cash so can I just add it into my tank then use the FWE later on sicne its reef safe and my stock list is;
3 holloween hermits
3 blue legg hermits
7 nassarius snails
7 cerith snails
7 astrea snails
1 cleanner shrimp
1 green emerald
1 coco worm
2 nemos
and soon to be
1 frog spawn

No, definitely not. That's just what I do. Others will chime in with what works for them. You may find a better match for your problem.
I've also used furan-2 as a dip and iodine. All were good.
I can't advise on putting things in my tank because I don't do it.

FWE in a Q tank. You probably have a Q tank but you need to use your imagination to find it. Don't add the coral until it's been treated successfully.

I edited my post. I too have used iodine and furan 2. I've never FW dipped. No reason why I haven't... I just never thought about it at the time I guess.
What are y'all's experiences with FW?
Any potable container is a QT.

Personally I would never place a coral in fresh water. That's just me.
I'm sure some of the shallow water Acropora occationally get rained on but I doubt it does good things for them.

Ah sure it does. It aids in natural selection. These coral also occasionally go through periods where there is no water at all and survive.
Anyway, if you don't have a QT, a rubbermaid bucket can be put to use and since you won't be feeding the coral anything at this time, you won't have to be as concerned about the tub not being cycled.
Two cents, I would never dose any medications to my DT even if it is reef safe and 100% of people who dose their DTs with it don't have a problem.
Hey, good luck with this btw

a lrg plastic bowl, a 5 gal bucket, a rubbermaid tub all make good qt tanks.
I would place it in something like that with some tank water, and a powerhead until you can treat it. I would not add flatworms to my tank

To be honest with you I just got tweezers and picked them off the coral
and half of them went onto the bag anyways! lol
If I see more I'll just use the FWE.

Yeah I know, I read up on it and it said its fine to add in your tank also. Just have to take the carbon out then put it back in once it mixs up or soemthing.

Not everyone feels the same way. You should also dig around for all the bad experiences people have had as well so you make the most informed decision possible.
