They Are Getting Powdery Blotches And Dying...does Not Look Like Ick...not Little Grains Of Salt Like Things But Dusty Looking.

Why do you have ammonia? That would be my biggest concern...do w/c's and get some prime or amquel+ asap to remove the toxicity of the ammonia....will not get rid of it, but shoud make it so the ammonia is less toxic

I'm not familiar with that, but if it negates the toxicity of ammonia...then go for it,......you need to get rid of ammonia...do w/c's

With marine velvet, tiny parasitic protozoa attach themselves via a root-like structure to the body, fins, and gills of a hos fish and live off its tissues.

eye, the parasites looks like a fine white - to - gold-colored dust. Once they reach maturity, they detach and settle to the bottom of the aquarium, where they form cysts.
fish infected with marine velvet will express their discomfort by scraping their bodies against the rockwork and substrate. Other obvious signs of infection include pale coloration, excessive body slime production, and increased respiration. If not treated in a timely manner, marine velvet can cause the death of the infected specimen in short order.

Marine velvet is rare, but it happens. You would notice white around the gills and head. It starts at the gills. By the time that it reaches their body, the fish is in seriously bad shape. Copper kills the parasites though.

I'd say the ammonia is your problem. Do 10% water changes daily. Why do you have ammonia? What size is your tank? How do you have your tank set up? What are you using for water circulation?

If I remember from a previous thread..you did go through your cycle right?
Anyway..When did you add these fish? And what did you add?
Like how many, and did you add them all at once....If you had your cycle, and then add a large bio-load that will cause a spike also

yep...I know ...had a 6 gal and added everything to the new 12...also got a new royal gramma and a prurple fire fish from the crappy LFS..I sould have known better...half his fish in the store looks BAD.

All fish gone...only inverts alive.
