Do you drip acclimate? You should test their water next time you make a purchase from them just to see what they're workin with... I've noticed that a few pet stores keep their salinity at some weird levels and if acclimation isn't done SLOWLY then the critter will most likely die of shock.
Yes I drip acclimate. Thanks for the input about testing the water

It's a common occurance for an LFS to just dump an entire shipment of snails into a tank. This has the potential to inflict a fatal dose of osmotic shock to the snails. Since it could take 2 or 3 weeks for the snails to actually die most of the snails are going to be sold and the fishkeeper is going to wonder why they have such trouble keeping snails.

The snails that I thought were dying in my tank just all the sudden started to move. Not sure why they stayed put for 3-4 days without moving but just started to move.

I think it is because of *****. They have a very very I mean very hard time keeping snails and that is where I buy them from. Out of 10 snails I buy, like 2 or 3 live past 2 days. I have checked my water quality constantly and it is good.
Why am I not surprised to learn that ***** can't even keep snails alive?
