Also, try closing the valve little by little on your return line and see if that does anything for you.

yah its a mag 5...ok so that wasnt the problem...the 1.25 is enough but only if the down elbow is submerged but then it still drains to much...i will take some pics in a minute when i finish eating

power off and complete drain
power on sump still makes a slurp from time to time
