need help

hello, i will like some help with buying a blue hippo tang, the tang its about five inches for the price of $80 but i noticed that around his eyeball there is a greenish stain, what can this be?.the tang was previosly on someones aquarium for years so i guess this a good thing, right?. i told the guy to feed the tang and it ate alot. do you think that eyes are a problem?

i seen it twice and every time i go he will feed it and it eats fine.but the eyes have me thinking.

I don't know much about fish but if a was looking at a fish that I wanted and there was something that I did not know I would spend at least 2weeks trying to find out what I did not know and watch the fish the hole time after that I would think about how much I wanted it and how hard would it be to get one somewnere else (then I would probably buy it anyway because I'm like that)

i will go again tomorrow and take a picture if i can. now the guy said that one of his costumers return the tang for a store credit after more that a year.the tang looks ok but the eyes have that greenish stain all around the eyeballs.

i decided to buy him so here are some pics i got from him in my tank, what i can tell you is that this tang does not like the modeling business.on the second pic you can kinda see the thing about the eyes

The only thing I see is the normal coloring on the front fins...I really can't see anything on its eye....so IMO it looks ok

Is this already in your tank? The pics with the fish look just like the tank in your avatar

If I think I am seeing what you are talking about. It may just be the color that his eyes are going to be. If you look at this link to SWF picture the eye has a green tint as well.https://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...nt_id=4&eyeit=

i got today and put it on my tank, but ithink the eyes are not a problem, ithink is just the color of his eyes.
