Almost 2 wks ago I added a 5 gallon bucket of sand from an established tank w/ 65lbs of rock from that tank. I already had 40lbs crushed coral and 60 lbs of sand in the bottom of the tank when I added the rock and established sand. I need anoth 65lbs of rock but im wacthing the levels. the salinity .027 ph 8.2 ammonia seems to be .25, nitrite seems to be 0 nitrates seem to beabout 5.0ppm. Will the ammonia ever go up in this tank or is it already cycled because of the stuff I got out of the established tank? Whats the best way to get water movement in the tank? when can i start adding snails and crabs? I had 4 damsels in there One blue beat up the other 3 then all of a sudden it turned white and died i think the salt was too high at the time.

i think thats what the card says .25ppm Ill look again if that dosent make sense
It's not that it doen't make sense, just that as long as you have ammonia...you do not want to consider adding anything....ammonia should go to zero...then your nitrites should go up and down....and then nitrates
when everything is 0...then consider beginning with your cuc
