i have a question should i add both dwarf angels in at once or seperate. i've heard sucess stories on people who add both in at the same time rather than waiting. can i get some suggestions? thanks in advance

They say it's a good idea to add fish that may fight at the same time. I added my 2 gold stripe maroon clowns at the same time and they get along great.

any other suggestions, opinions or experience with adding 2 dwarf angels in at the same time? any horror stories or successes? please let me know thanks

I imagine there aren't too many people with 2 dwarf angels in the same tank. So the lack of opinions. Most people I see have a large tank and then have one large angel and one dwarf, or multiple large angels added as juvies at the same time. If you do go through with it, let me know how it goes.

I have never tried to keep 2 at once . But if thats your plan I would add them at the same time . That gives neither the time to develop a teritory to defend .

ok i think ill add both at the same time in 3 or 4 weeks but since that i got all my 4 chromis in the tank now and bought more snails and hermits a total of 18 snails and 7 hermits
question:
would a star fish work with the tank i have??

so i decided not to get a starfish. i had no help on that decision. i was sad to find that one of my chromis had died
it was beaten up at the LFS i rescued him from but it didnt make it.
but i set up my special order on a potter angel and midnight angel or lemon peel angel. i changed my mind on the golden angel too much for my budget i didn't want to risk a $150.00 golden angel die from a $25.00 potter angel not worth the risk but im still going to try 2 dwarf angels. here are some pictures taken a couple days ago (picture has 4 chromis but only have 3 now)

i think ill keep it in there for now i really like it but i might take it out later down the road.

so my LFS should be getting my 2 dwarf angels tomorrow or thursday im so exited
the chromis are doing very well i feed them a combo of brine shrimp and marine mix flakes and pellets.

parameters:

nitrates:0
pH: 8.2
temp:79
salinity:1.023
ammonia:0
nitrites: 10
im going to do a water change today and ill post pictures when i get the 2 angels wish me luck.

It is always interesting to me to try to put fish together that usually don't mix well, but I do support separating them as soon as it gets to be too much fighting.

yes i plan to if they fight ill return one to my LFS. thanks for the luck.
my LFS still has not got any yet they usually get potters in for $23.99 and midnight angels for $18.99 and lemonpeels for $21.99. but shipment for pygmy angels is at a all time low for them they have a bunch of larger angels that i cant have. but is ok ill wait. i have 100 nass snails coming in from an 0nl1ne auct10n for $17.00 so that should do it for my clean up crew

They are sweet looking. I almost added one because I like the black...but would get chomped in my tank.

lol. that little guy sure would get chomped in your tank
so i just have to wait for the potter angel tomorrow ill post pictures when i get them!!

well i was busy with work and finals for college so i havent been up on SWF for a while.
whats new:
-i passed all my classes 2 C's 1 B and 1 A!!!!
- well my LFS never got the potter angel i wanted and instead got in a rusty angel which looks a little similar
- i did get the Midnight angel!!
- i put them in the tank the same time about 3 days ago
- they seem to be fond of each other always hanging around one another even during feeding time
- i guess you can add in 2 pygmy angels w/o agression as long as you add them in at the same time
- the midnight is already trying to eat up my CUC
- im feeding them a mixture of mysis shrimp, live brine shrimp and marine variety flakes
- both eating well and look healthy
- the rust is a little smaller than the midnight but theyre so cool together
