new 55 gallon need ideas!

I just got a new 55 gallon and I was thinking a trigger or lion fish of some sort but I 'am not sure I really won't a black and white cat shark.I have a bio wheel hang on tank filter and power head I going to do a protein skimmer could use help.

Dwarf lion is the only lion you should put in that tank. No triggers and no triggers with lions ever for any reason.

I have 25 pounds of crushed coral and 20pounds of base rock and 20 pounds of live rock and a power head and bio wheel hang on tank as filtration with a hum bug damsel and yellow tail devil damsel as cycle fish meozwer

you DO NOT cycle a tank with fish. did you do any research or did you just watch finding nemo and decided you wanted a fish tank? I would suggest holding off on adding anything else, get proper filtration and other equipment, also more LR and i'd switch out your crushed coral for sand, it will be easier on you in the long run. I would not get any more BR and get much more LR, you should have I think it's a pound per gallon. so get maybe another 40# of LR and see where your at then you can think about stocking.

I'm NO expert...I just read the threads a lot...So have you been testing your water for your cycle? They say to cycle a tank for a month..(I should say SOME)
You will need to get a protein skimmer too...just keep checking your levels
I can't comment about the cc either...I've read both sides to it...I prefer sand, but that is only MY opinion

YUP, that was me
, this kid is gonna clog up the site with all the threads he has started about his 55g tank. he asked about the nemo tank so I figured he watched it and then went to buy a tank or something like that.............

Yeah I saw them all..lol...maybe we should suggest that he combine the questions into one...or stop making new ones...he is new
