New bulb flickering,need help

So my new pheonix bulb arrived and i set everything up but when i turn it on the bulb only flickers, is this normal or did i do something wrong?

ok:
unplug the fixture, take off the bulb with cloth not your hands. put back in the correct way. cover it up. plug it back in. wait a few mins so that the ballast cools. then switch it up!

Is it a screw in, or duo end?

double end, im pretty damn positive its in the right way, i think it just has to warm up?

I turned it off, however it was getting a little more intense but then it stayed like that for about 5 minutes so i turned it off

Nissan is correct, if they are not seated right, they flicker.

Also it wasnt flickering it was a constant beam

just do like i said to be on the safe side. unplug it and put it back together.

Yeah...make sure both sides have "snapped" into their places
