The EO Smith School in Storrs CT has a marine biology class that deals with corals and such. They are doing a great job teaching the kids about the hobby, and help with aquaculturing and growing corals, fragging them, how to grow them, etc. Last year CTARS (CT Area Reef Society) sponsored a Frag Farmers event where people from all over New England and New York set up booths with their frags for a very large frag swap / sale. There is also a HUGE raffle for hobby related items.
This year, they are doing it again and hope to have it even bigger than last year. All proceeds from the booths and raffles go to the EO Smith School to help fund the marine biology department.
Hopefully people from all over will come down
